I don’t know about you all, but tomorrow is a double whammy celebration for me. My adorable German Shepherd Dog named Alpha turns a whopping 10 years old and it’s also Bastille Day (excited about this as I’m in the midst of travel plans for the South of France this fall). Oui Oui! So to celebrate both happy occasions, I’m headed out for free frozen dog treats for my pup at Larry’s around 5pm and then off to drink beer and watch the famous French Maid Relay Race at L’Enfant’s annual block party in Adam’s Morgan. This amusing race features 30 Cafe L’Enfant customers dressed in French Maid costumes competing for top prizes. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette will be there at 4pm to start the festivities and the race kicks off at 8pm. On se verra demain!
